On Monday, 7th October, 2024, Greenoak International School celebrated world’s Teachers’ Day in interesting fashion. Teachers’ Day is a global celebration set aside to honour the dedication and hard work of educators and also recognise their vital role in shaping the future of many young minds.
It was a vibrant event that brought together staff from our Primary campus, and Secondary campus, as well as Educare (nursery). The event featured engaging presentations from staff members, celebrating the unity and shared purpose of our teaching community.
One of the highlights was a heartwarming rendition of USA for Africa’s famous piece: “We Are the World” performed by our teachers. This was followed by a short drama presentation and other interesting activities that fostered a strong sense of camaraderie. The celebration also gave teachers a platform to share their experiences, reflecting on the joys and challenges of the teaching profession.
It was a colourful and memorable event, designed to recognise the tireless efforts of educators not only at Greenoak but around the world. We thank all our teachers for their dedication, passion, and the positive impact they have on their students’ lives.
