Curriculum

The formative years (0 to 8 years old) are crucial to a child’s development. It’s a period of time when a child undergoes development intellectually, socially, emotionally, and physically. The experiences a child has in all areas of their life when they are growing up tend to shape and define their character, as well as who they are likely to become in the future.

At Educare, we are dedicated to making a child’s formative years as enriching as they can be. Our nursery school is set in the safe premises of GRA, Port Harcourt. When a child steps into Educare – from the thoughtfully designed bespoke playrooms to the clean environment, we do our best to ensure that we create a homely atmosphere for children aged 1 to 5 years of age.

As a member of the IPC (International Primary Curriculum) family, we offer our preschoolers a hybrid curriculum which is a fusion of the Nigerian and British curricula.

The children are taught the fundamentals of the English Language, Phonetics, Basic Mathematical Skills, I.C.T., Science, Social Science, History, and Geography as well as languages like French.

Music and Arts & Crafts allow them to exercise their creativity.

Outdoor games and play keep them active and engaged.

We pride ourselves on providing a nurturing and supportive atmosphere for interactive academic learning and character building. We provide the foundation for a child to kickstart their education journey.
