Primary Campus Art Week: A Celebration of Creativity, Music, and Community

Posted: 15th June 2026

The Primary Campus recently hosted its annual Literary and Art Week from June 8th to June 12th 2026, giving pupils a great opportunity to dive into creative activities. The initiative focused on providing a well-rounded experience that balanced practical skill-building with community engagement, celebrating the diverse talents of our campus.

The week featured a Sip and Paint session designed for parents and children to enjoy together. Guided by the Art Department, families worked side-by-side on individual canvases while sharing light refreshments. Beyond being a relaxing way for families to bond, this hands-on activity helped pupils develop fine motor skills and spatial awareness as they experimented with brush strokes and colour mixing.

The programme continued with a lively school carnival on the campus grounds, complete with recreational games e.g Chess, Bouncy castle etc, and other fun activities for the whole community. It created a joyful and relaxed atmosphere where pupils could unwind, connect with peers, and enjoy shared moments of laughter and play.

The week then built up to its grand finale with a musical concert themed “Magical Melodies” that showcased the hard work of our pupils and music instructors. The programme featured a variety of vocal and instrumental performances that demonstrated just how much the children have grown in their musical skills. Taking the stage before an audience of families and peers gave the pupils a significant confidence boost, while the process of learning the repertoire strengthened their memory, discipline, and teamwork.

The success of this year’s Literary and Art Week reflects the careful planning of our staff, the enthusiasm of our pupils, and the wonderful support of our parent community.
