Greenoak International School, Port Harcourt is an international day and boarding school for children aged 5 to 17.
Greenoak Primary (5 – 10 years) was founded in September 2004, while Greenoak Secondary (10- 17 years) was founded in 2008. The founders of the school were motivated to create an establishment that would provide quality national and international education.
The school operates a hybrid curriculum consisting of the innovative International Primary Curriculum (IPC), as well as the British, American, and Nigerian curricula.
Greenoak is defined by its motto Unitate, Fortis, et Excellentia (Unity, Strength, and Excellence.)
The combination of our motto’s sentiment and our academic excellence ensures that we provide a balanced education aimed at producing truly intelligent, skilful, confident, and morally sound children.
At both Greenoak Primary and Secondary, pupils are empowered to be curious, confident, courteous, as well as distinctive individuals.
On graduation from both campuses and the completion of studies, our students are well-equipped to face a competitive and rapidly changing world. They are able to thrive in a global society and make a difference in their chosen fields. They are also extremely proud of their school and their continuing role in the community, their home country, and the world.
I hope that you will accept this invitation to visit Greenoak International School to see these wonderful qualities in action. It is a truly remarkable place and school, and it will be a privilege to welcome you here.
Mr Bruce Clapp,
Principal of Greenoak International School
